It's been a great couple of weeks - we're taking full advantage of the beautiful weather here with some fun outdoor activities.

Carol offered to babysit for a night while we went out to a great restaurant and a movie. Apollo loves Carol, books, and dogs, so this was the perfect combination.

He really likes books.

We had a great time kayaking in the Newport Bay - Apollo just sat between us. He loved dragging his hand and his rubber duck in the water.

Our little son loves to climb! He never got bored of crawling on the rocks while we checked out a new wall on Lake Perris.

Nick and Jordan came with us - they've got that newlywed glow, can you see it?

Apollo is here with Carol - he needed some sustenance after his tough climbs. Between bites, he made sure we all knew where his belly button was.

It was a great wall that we'll be sure to visit again.

I think it's so awesome that you guys still do so many outdoors activities even though you've got Apollo...we've done a few, but sometimes it just seems like so much more work! Looks like so much fun!

ha ha ha! that is so funny, London LOVES her button too! she actually will come up to people and check where their buttons are as well. It must be something about kids this age...button obsessed!

Um, are you serious? You climb that wall?? That looks super intimidating- what do you hold on to? Tell me that is one of the hardest ones...I'm glad you guys had a good time even though the drive was forever long back.
