Christmas is Coming

Here's our church Christmas party. Apollo kept trying to get in front of everyone to see Santa he was so excited. Then, when he came to sit on his lap he started crying until Santa gave him candy. He told Santa he wanted a "big spider" for Christmas. He keeps repeating it-we can't tell if we can't understand him or if he really wants a big spider?? Annie loved Santa and loved his beard-so cute (she got too hot in her Santa suit at the party).

Here's Apollo with the other little kids watching the carolers (after a little dance party).

I met with some friends I haven't seen in many years for breakfast. So fun to see Kim and Kelly again.

Our church put on a festival where the kids dressed up.

We had Brian, Aileen, and Katie over for our Christmas get together. Apollo was excited about the snowman cake.

Heidi sent this picture of Gracy (my niece). It totally looks like Annie. Even Apollo thought it was Annie.

New Moon Party. Megan threw a New Moon party the day it came out. It was the best decorated parties- cardboard cutout of Edward, New Moon trailer projected on the wall, framed Edwards, beautiful food, lights outside, people with decorated shirts, wall hanging cutouts... etc. So fun!

Last weekend, some of us had a Twilight get together to see the first movie again. I wore this shirt "My heart belongs to Carleton but my neck belongs to Edward." I stole it from the New Moon party bathroom sign.

Thanksgiving Weekend

We had a fun Thanksgiving with Carleton's parents and brother. We had a great time playing and eating. Thanksgiving morning we ran a 5k with the kids in their stroller.

Apollo ran a turkey kid race before the 5k started. He started out great, but then I ended up carrying him for the end. Maybe next year he'll get the concept a little better.

The 5k was the prettiest race I've been in with the ocean on one side and trees lining the trail.

Apollo loved playing with Grandma and Grandpa's blocks and a bunch of toys that belonged to Heidi's grandma.

Apollo's doing great going potty. He likes his privacy during #2 times. He points to the door and tells us to "leave" so he can grunt in private.

We love the CA winter weather.

Our little Annie has been sick with a fever for a few days now. We took her to the doc and she's now on meds for an ear infection. It's sad to see her so chill. I want my little energetic and happy girl back. She went from being in the 75% overall to being in the 25% for weight and height. They said we need to watch her because she's had a consistent growth curve and took a dive at 9 months. Apollo was always near the 100% overall so we didn't ever have to worry about him. We'll have to beef up her eating. At 18, she'll probably want to be on the lower end:) I took some pics of her just laying on the diapers but my little sickie still smiled.
