The Big 5

Apollo.  I love this boy so much.  I like this boy so much.  I enjoy being around him and feel so so blessed to know him and to be his mother.  He is so kind.  Annie was a little nervous to walk into her last dance class and Apollo had his hands on her shoulders and lead her in to sit down and was giving her a little pep talk.  He is so sweet to her.  When I cry, he does anything he can to make me feel better.  I was on the phone crying the other day and he brought me different things to make me feel better.  Apollo is competitive (Carleton and I don't know where this comes from...haha!) and likes to win...if he doesn't, he wants to play again.  He is athletic, creative, artistic, and loves to learn.  He is loving preschool. Apollo and Annie both pick out their outfits every day.  He loves to run downstairs in the outfit he picks.  He now even fixes his own hair...a cute little spike thing that he does.  We've kind of slowed down a bit the last couple of days.  Last night we (me, Annie, and Apollo) read the BFG on the hammock and then rocked, chatted, and sang for a long time.  Today we went to the dollar store to get some Halloween projects and worked on those today.  We also took turns choosing Halloween books to read.  It's been a great couple of days.

Apollo wanted a race car birthday.  He got out some of his cars and trucks to "decorate" his own cake.

He went crazy opening his gifts.

Marlon and Carleton took the boys out to ride cars and rides.  They had a blast.

Funday Monday.  We went out for our annual field trip.

Apollo picked out a green and blue shirt and thought they looked great because he had green and blue in his shorts.  I told him his BYU one he choose the other day would look great but he wanted this outfit.

Parks held on for as long as he could but the hay ride did him in.  Annie took the picture here.

Angela and I volunteered in Ty and Apollo's class so they got to be the special helpers.  Miss Diana is an amazing teacher and does so many cool things for them.  Apollo adores her.  The boys got to "babysit" little animals and tell about their experience and fill out a poster about themselves.  The kids in their class asked them questions.

Apollo said his favorite part about preschool is the centers.  The teacher has the class very well organized.  I love the little chairs and tables with all the fun activities at each station.

This has been the year of Halloween parties with church, school, and other events.  They've been in these costumes and will be a lot.

My cute little devil.

We had a Halloween party here.  Apollo and Annie were so good the whole day playing on the trampoline.  I came out to find them playing soccer.  They had moved all these items themselves!

We played Fear Factor, told scary stories, and had awards for the different costumes.

Clam Juice.  Mike and Tanya were throwing up so Jeremy came out with the win.

I thought I would post this picture to remember...fuzzy boots, clip on tie on the right side, sweat pants..sweet!  Did his own cute hair too.
