Happy Anniversary

We are celebrating 7 years together today! We had babysitters Fri. night and another tomorrow night so we have had a fun time. Carleton bought me tickets to see the American Idol top 10 when they come to LA. I'm sooooo excited!!

This Saturday we're moving about 6 miles away to a month to month place. We're looking to buy some place and want to pay less while we look (and not have to sign a year contract). Does anybody know of any cheap, big, beautiful homes near Irvine?-hehehehe. Right now I'm surrounded by boxes. Moving is such a pain.

Apollo's been having fun with his friends. He gets so excited to play with them. He is still doting on his little sister. We put Annie to bed (in the same room as Apollo) and she cried for a minute. Apollo stood up and said to her across the room "It's ok, Annie." He was excited to wake her up with me and went in saying "Hi, Sweetie." He tickles her and tries to get her to smile. She had a great smile for him this week. He puts his fingers inside her fist for "finger hugs."

Free at Last...Free at Last!!

Carleton and I took the kids for a long trip in the stroller with our roller blades. It feels so good not to be pregnant! I can run again (my Dr. told me to stop) and play Dance Dance Revolution (although I don't know if the guy below us is as excited).

We found an apartment about 7 miles from Carleton's work where we can rent month to month while we look for a place to buy. We'll miss having a running trail right outside our apartment and having Carleton home for lunch.

I made a little headband for Annie. I learned how to make it from a girl at church and tried it out the other day. It's kind of big. I'm going to put it on my creative blog so if you want to make it go to growmegrowyou.blogspot.com.

Annie Love

I take pics of Annie and Apollo all the time because Apollo is so cute with her. He is always kissing her, wants to hold her, and brings her things. Here are just some random pics I took this last week. Apollo always brings Annie's toy when I lay her down for "tummy time" and he lays by her. He's her little protector.



We went on a hike near here called "Top of the World". It was beautiful with the fog surrounding us and beautiful views.


Happy Mother's Day. Carleton got me some beautiful and cool things, but the best gift was a Mom's Day nap while he played with the kids.

Why I love my mom-Tammy:
*She's very creative. From making up fun games to making a creative craft
*She's good at making things. She refinishes, paints, uses a scroll saw, and makes anything beautiful.
*She always loves and encourages us
*She's an incredible Grandma. It's amazing to watch her play with my kids-she really gets down and plays with them and includes them.
*She is fun to be with
*She always included us in all she did from cool hikes finding pottery to fun trips.
*She's beautiful
*She thinks of others
*She's always been a good friend to me
*Down to earth
I hope be the kind of mother she has been and is to me. I admire and want to be like her.

Congrats Jordan! Happy Graduation! To describe Jordie-Tall, not dark, handsome, fun, caring, thoughtful, smart, personable, has a lot of friends, good uncle and brother. Enjoy BYU-Idaho!

Fun with the Fam

The same weekend we put an offer on the house, there were 3 others that same weekend. Since two offers were cash, they didn't give us another chance. So...we are going to buy a town home or condo closer to Carleton's work.

We had a great time on our yearly Moab trip this year. We went to Heidi and Josh's for the weekend, over to Moab, and I took the kids back to visit Heidi while Carleton went back to work.

Easter Sunday.




We hiked to a beautiful waterfall near the Balling's house. Justin and Carleton went under the snow runoff. Here's Apollo with Uncle Justin. Yes ladies, this brave handsome stud is single!!



Carleton and Josh did an epic 4 pitch climb in rock canyon. I think this looks like a mentor with his "special" friend (Carleton wore a helmet because he was climbing below Josh).

This is my Grandpa Skenandore (Annie is named after his mom). Grandpa said Grandma Annie was always thinking of others and had great courage even until her last days. I think this is a sweet pic.
